VAF Instruments’ latest development, IVY®, enables you to manage your fleet propulsion performance from your office. Using VAF expertise on fuel and propulsion efficiency, IVY® allows you to manage propeller performance, hull resistance and more than 40 other fleet and ship’s performance KPIs.
IVY® is a web-based platform which can receive input signals from multiple sensors such as PT2-type flow meters, Viscosense3D®, T-Sense® or optimally TT-Sense®, GPS, speed log, anemometer, inclinometer, draught meter and more.
Further to VAF Instruments’ latest developments, IVY® software can be incorporated in their SPU-3 Signal Processing Unit, either existing or new, making this upgrade easier and more efficient cost-wise and installation-wise.
All received data is enriched in order to feed shipowners with the most valuable information instead of large volumes of raw data.
IVY® offers a user-friendly interface which enables the creation of added value by presenting the most accurate and valuable data in the most efficient way, in order to assist in fleet performance management optimization.
The shipowner can select the IVY® version which suits their fleet’s needs best:
- IVY® Basic: For visualization of +15 KPIs fuel consumption monitoring and automatic reports for MRV and IMO.
- IVY® Advanced: Visualization of +30 KPIs. Includes and enriches data also from you torque meter, presenting SFOC, engine load diagrams and more.
- IVY® Expert: Visualization of +40 KPIs. In case of installed TT-Sense onboard, IVY Expert can present also hull resistance, propeller performance and quantified additional FOC in $ due to performance decrease.
